"Am I bovvered?" - Lauren Cooper
One of my discoveries in England has been a fantastic comedian by the name of Catherine Tate. She has created a screamingly funny series of characters for The Catherine Tate show with my favorite being a teenager by the name of Lauren Cooper. All of her characters have different catch phrases that people drop into their everyday conversations, but for me, “Am I bovvered?” remains my favorite. Of all the Lauren Cooper video’s captured on YouTube, this is the one I enjoy the most. It takes some time to load, but it’s worth waiting for.

Comedy aside, I have some news I feel I need to share with my readers. There is a reader who follows my blog and who has pretended to be someone other than who she really is more than a few times in the past. She creates a false email address and a character to go with it and can be quite ugly in what she has to say. Sometimes she just lurks in the background and sometimes she comments, as in a comment left on this post. I bet you can spot which one is hers. All bloggers can receive less than nice comments from to time, but let me assure you that this is the very mildest of her behavior most of which has occurred though emails prior to my joining the blogging community back in June.
I’ve been a little concerned that she might try to negatively affect some of the relationships I have in the blogging world by creating an email address that looks similar to mine and then using it to say things to my readers ( those who comment) that I would never say.
I love to communicate off line with my readers whenever I can and I want you all to note that any email from Elizabeth Harper will be sent from the email address that comes up when you click on the mailbox in the top right corner. That’s it! If you receive anything else, it’s not me and I certainly hope you will contact me if you have any questions.
For now, I just want to be clear that “I am not bovvered and I don’t want you to be either!”
